Location Photography
As an equine photographer, Tim has an exceptional ability to capture a horse’s character, whether that horse is formally posed, at turnout or under saddle. Having a keen eye for correct and balanced movement as well as exquisite timing, he can capture your horse's personality together with that special relationship between you.
Tim will travel to your yard, equestrian centre or stud farm, or alternatively meet you at any beautiful location of your choosing. Of course the venue is of great importance whether your need is for advertising, editorial, publishing or purely personal use.
Your requirements may include:
- Photo portraits of horse and rider
- Dressage photos or over jumps
- Fun and dynamic photos of your horse at liberty
- Formal conformation, movement and headshots
- Stud portraits and stallion promotion
Sessions can be individual, or as a group if you prefer to share a location and the travel expenses with friends. Generally, first thing in the morning and the late afternoon make for the best lighting on a beautiful day. Otherwise, overcast, cloudy and fog can make for atmospheric lighting. The number of images taken will depend on available light, type of photos you require and, of course how organised you are.
To select the images you want it will be possible to view digital images on location.
Carefully edited images can be supplied for review as 35mm transparencies or in digital file format.
